This humble attempt of ours 'Waris Shah-Ishq Daa Waaris' portrays the life of the great poet, saint Waris Shah, how and under what circumstances he completed his one and only mission of life, penning down the tale of 'Heer Ranjha' for generation to cherish. The film also depicts Waris Shah's personal encounters in life and while writing the epic somewhere along the way the life of Waris Shah and that of his characters got entwined.
