Description: The series "Sobor na krovi" will for the first time comprehensively and impartiality tell to the viewer the tragic history of Ukrainian national liberation movement in its struggle for collegiality and independence of the Motherland during the period from 1919 till 1949. This struggle is considered in the film as a part of European history. For Konovalets and Melnyk, Bandera and Sheptytsky, Borovets and Shuhevych were living and acting in the complicated situation of the grandiose geopolitical conflict of Hitler's Reich, Stalin's Soviet empire and Western democracies. Such approach helps us to understand and comprehend the background of the events and actions in the general humanity vision, not from this or that point of view blinded with traditional stereotypes.
