Description: Antoine, 13, goes to the seaside for the holidays with his parents and Titi, his younger brother. Both spend most of their time drawing at the restaurant and at the beach, between two crab hunting parties. One night, Antoine discovers an extra person lying in their dormitory. Hélène is 16 years old, she came with her mother spend a few days at home and his presence as his behavior cause Antoine an ambiguous disorder. Bastien Vivès returns here to his first love, a story with a tenuous plot and collected in time, which plays unspoken and observes the relationship as it can be established between two people. However, unlike the "Taste of Chlorine" and "In my Eyes" where it is more a question of love emotions of young adults, "A sister" explores adolescence and the birth of desires and attachments. His graphic style shows a great maturity. The depth of his black masses gains in power when his line is close to the sketch. He adopts, from one box to another, different graphic registers, always in the service of a sensitive narrative, of the correctness of the emotion.
